This spring, we’re delighted to be bringing something new, meaningful, and full of discovery to children taking part in the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme.

At Wild for Life, we’re excited to introduce our brand-new Wild Explorers Club: Discovering Change kits—created especially for the Easter period. Designed with both fun and wellbeing in mind, these nature-based activity kits invite children to explore the theme of change through the natural world around them.
Spring is the perfect season to notice change—buds beginning to bloom, birds returning, days growing longer—and our kits use these natural moments as gentle, relatable ways to help children understand and process change in their own lives. Through a series of engaging, hands-on activities, children will be encouraged to reflect, create, and connect with nature, supporting their emotional wellbeing in a calm and accessible way.

The Discovering Change kit is particularly valuable for children who may find transitions challenging, including those with additional needs. By grounding big ideas in simple, observable changes in nature, the activities help build confidence, resilience, and curiosity.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel supported, inspired, and connected—and these kits are designed to do just that.
If you are a local authority or HAF provider looking for new partners, innovative ways to support harder-to-reach groups, or to strengthen your SEN offering, we would love to hear from you. Get in touch to find out how we can work together this Easter and beyond.
