wild ideas for... halloween
pumpkin face masks

As the days become cooler and the central heating is turned on, our skin often starts to feel dry, stressed or patchy.  In the chillier months, you need nourishing ingredients to plump up your pores and with all the Halloween celebrations going on, your face will need a mask or two to detox after eating all that excess sugar and plastering your skin in spooky face paint. You could go out to your local beauty salon for a facial, but maybe you should consider saving your skin for free by creating your own home spa and mixing up a rejuvenating potion or two from ingredients you already have at home. We’ve whipped up a DIY pumpkin face mask that has a healthy dose of nutrients that’ll keep you glowing throughout the spooky season and autumn.

With vitamin A, C, and E, antioxidants, zinc, potassium, and fruit enzymes, pumpkin is a natural skin superhero. Add honey with its antiseptic and nourishing qualities and cider vinegar which is great for inflammation and acne, and you have a natural, organic mask that will help you to unwind and glow! Finding 20 minutes to indulge in some me-time sometimes seems impossible, but when you do it it is always worth it. So try it out, relax and detox. You’ll never waste Halloween pumpkin filling again!
