wild activity kits

We are SO excited to be launching our new range of Wild Activity Kits aimed at supporting your child through the developing stages of childhood but with a fun nature led activity theme.

These kits perfectly link up the opportunity to discover and explore nature and the outside world with fun family activities for you and your children. The kits contain all of the resources that you need to complete 3 activities with your child. But the BIG bonus is, all of the activities enable you to support your child in developing confidence or preparing them for change.

We do this by providing a detailed parental guide with our web of wellbeing and details of how to use this. In addition, there are lots of ideas for extensions to the activities and ways that you can continue to develop and build upon activities in the future.

about the kits

The first kit out this July will be:

the big kit of confidence for 3-10 year olds

the big kit of confidence:

learning to believe

(3-10 yrs)

Confidence and self-belief are incredibly important traits for us all to possess in order to lead positive, happy lives. Being confident in our work or at school, in our personal lives, with the decisions we make and the situations we put ourselves, allows us to move forwards and develop without fear or anxiety.

Starting to build confidence and self-belief from a young age is key to thriving mentally and emotionally.

how does the big kit of confidence help?

Children learn in a visual and practical way, using their senses, observation and communication. The natural world, whether that be a garden, park, woodland or field provides free, invigorating and stimulating environments full of resources to use to work, learn and play.

the big kit of confidence contains activities that explore different elements Risk and problem solving, Leadership and decision making, reflection and positivity.

The kit is based upon a theme of dragons and wizards and using your childs developing imagination combined with the resources and guide in the kit will encourage you and your child to go on wild and magical adventures.

The real contents are a secret, but here are a few clues:

the magic whittling wand

the dragons chest

the cauldron of confidence

The only ingredient not included in the kit is nature and we encourage you to get out into the wider world to discover and collect items from nature to collect the last components.

big kit of change:

preparing for something new

(7-12 yrs)

Viewing change as a positive and preparing for it is incredibly important for our children as they grow and develop. It will enable them to approach situations throughout their lives with a positive mindset and the confidence that they are able to adapt and embrace change, even when the outcome is uncertain.

It is important that children feel able to manage changes. Coping with change can build resilience, increase confidence and self esteem and enable children to grow and thrive as they progress through school and teenage years into adulthood.

how does the big kit of change help?

Children learn in a visual and practical way. Through experiencing and seeing changes in the world around them they start to understand that change is natural. There is a routine in nature through the seasons, but nature constantly has to adapt and cope with change too. There are many metaphors and opportunities to relate to that can help our children to understand and cope better.

the big kit of change contains activities that explore different elements of change : Breaking down barriers and adapting to changing environments. Changing states, what we need to grow and thrive, building resilience through facing and overcoming challenges and then bouncing back. Rising to new challenges, risk and adventure.

The contents are a secret, but here are a few clues:

going underground

growing and thriving

rising to the challenge

The only ingredient not included in the kit is nature and we encourage you to get out into the wider world to discover and collect items from nature to collect the last components.
